Step Inside Manor Mill

Welcome to Manor Mill, a restored 17th-century watermill in Branscombe. Powered by water, it once ground animal feed and grain for the village. As you explore each floor, discover how grain was lifted, stored, and milled. Imagine the creak of timber, the rush of water, and the steady rumble of grinding stones. Picture sacks hoisted to the loft, gears turning, and flour pouring into waiting bags – the steady rhythm of a busy working mill.

How to use this tour

In each section of the tour, you’ll see either a sequence of photographs, like here, or a panoramic image that you can drag with your finger to look right round the scene.
