We need volunteers to help us explore East Devon’s historic hedgerows to survey blackthorn for the beautiful eggs of the Brown Hairstreak butterfly – one of 8 endangered species we are supporting through our East Devon National Landscape Saving Special Species project.
Keen eyes and patience are needed, but no experience is necessary as we’ll be joining our partners the Saving Devon’s Treescapes project who have organised full training and instructions for all volunteers.
Get involved with this rewarding conservation work and come along to the training session on:
Monday 13 December 2021
09:30 – 12:30 at Umborne Village Hall
