Rising above Sidmouth, Salcombe Hill is a spectacular gateway to the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site. With sweeping red‑cliff scenery, wildflower meadows, and stunning clifftop views, it’s a great spot for walkers and photographers.

Our #FridayFeature this week is Musbury Castle!
Musbury Castle is an Iron Age hillfort set high above the Ave Valley with sweeping countryside views. Surrounded by peaceful woodland and farmland, it’s an atmospheric spot perfect for walkers and a peaceful haven for wildlife.

Yesterday, 70 farmers from across the East Devon National Landscape came together for the annual East Devon Farmers Group summer social, kindly hosted by Sam and Nell Walker at Stantyway Farm 🌾☀️
We were treated to a guided tour on the Walkers’ and Clinton Devon Estates’ educational trailers, taking in stunning views from Brandy Head Observation Post and spotting lots of wildlife, including Brown Argus, Clouded Yellow and White Admiral butterflies, Cirl Buntings, and a Peregrine Falcon! 🦋🦅
It was fantastic to see the work taking place on the farm, where a diverse range of organic crops, including oats, quinoa and lucerne, are grown alongside a herd of beef cattle.
A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, especially Sam and Nell for their warm hospitality and David White for sharing his knowledge of the farm`s wildlife.
