Cycling

With miles of National Cycle Network routes, open heathland, and woodland trails, cycling is a fantastic way to explore the East Devon National Landscape. You can explore waymarked routes, bridleways or common land.

Sometimes there’s a problem

We try to keep these routes as clear and as up to date as possible. If you find that somethings not right, or that a path is blocked let us know and we can update our information.

Remember to always wear appropriate gear, take some snacks and ensure you have plenty of fluids

A cultural experience

For thousands of years, people have lived and worked in the East Devon National Landscape – shaping the scenery and stories we see today. Fossil hunters, farmers, smugglers, Romans and rebels have all left their mark on this rich landscape.

Ancient monuments, historic buildings, artefacts and local traditions offer a window into the past and reveal how generations of people have shaped East Devon’s landscape and heritage.
